Easy and Healthy Mushroom & Pea Sauce

This delicious sauce is super easy to make, it’s very versatile (you can use pasta, rice, or couscous like here) and packed with healthy nutrients from both mushrooms and peas.

Inspired by a recipe from the amazing chef Wolfgang Puck, this sauce is ideal for a stress-free, easy to put together meal! The peas can be ready in 5 minutes from frozen (how amazing is that?). The mushrooms take just a few minutes in the pan (and you can even buy the pre-sliced ones! I go for the shiitake, easily found in AH). You can use an earthy, tasty mushroom of choice! The pasta/rice/couscous is just easily boiled. How amazing is that? 😀

This sauce is vegan and I like to pair it with something protein-rich like lentil pasta or couscous (for example, chickpea couscous has 18g/100g vs the 4g/100g of standard couscous!).

It looks absolutely delicious! I didn’t even know there is such a thing as chickpea couscous, need to look for it next time I’m shopping.

There is nothing better than a quick, minimal ingredient meal to me! I like your idea for pre sliced veggies 😂 always makes it easier!
