Let me tempt you with yet another quick & easy pasta sauce! This time I am taking you to this classic sauce called puttanesca. This version has anchovies added to the traditional recipe (from Naples). Hence for the vegan & traditional version, you can just omit those 😉
To be extra traditional you would use local and seasonal produce, specifically black olives from Gaeta, and capers from Procida. My variant uses some delicious Kalamata olives and does just fine 🙂 as always, when you have a few ingredients make sure the quality is good. In this way your dish will be a success!
The best thing about this sauce is that you can make it if you want to give a twist to your classic tomato sauce. To save time, you can even use some leftover tomato sauce – which is perfect for an easy, no fuss meal for a busy day.
