Easy & Delicious pan-fried Broccoli with Bottarga

by Micaela Harrasser

Yes, another dish with bottarga! If you missed my latest post, bottarga is powdered fish eggs – a sea-tasting seasoning very versatile. Here you can see how to use it in a nice pasta sauce.

Today I am showing how to make a simple, delicious and healthy side dish made of broccoli, gently pan-fried and generously seasoned with sweet paprika and bottarga. The result is simply delicious! If you are not a fan of broccoli, you can use the same recipe on cauliflower florets. I recommend to use sweet paprika instead of smoked, because with the bottarga it might get a bit too bitter or strong in flavor – the sweet paprika is perfect. These broccoli make the perfect healthy snack, side dish or can also be used as pasta sauce! (You can either make a cream using a small food processor, or chop the florets in smaller chunks. Enjoy!
